The Parliamentary Pensions (Repeal) Bill, which aims to abolish the existing Parliamentary Pensions Law (No. 1 of 1979), has been officially introduced to Parliament. 

The Bill was presented by the Minister of Justice and National Integration, Harshana Nanayakkara.
