Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Anil Jayantha Fernando stated that the QR code system for fuel distribution will continue to operate.

Addressing Parliament today (19), he noted that the system will remain in place to help manage and minimise fuel consumption amid the current global situation.

Under the QR system, fuel quotas remain at 25 litres for cars, 20 litres for three-wheelers, 8 litres for motorcycles and 100 litres for buses.
