The Ministry of Digital Economy has received over 1,000 complaints over misuse of the fuel QR system, Secretary Waruna Sri Dhanapala stated.

More than 150 complaints have been referred to police, with several arrests already made.

Investigations are ongoing using CCTV footage, while over 6 million users have registered for the QR system.
