The Colombo Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar has sentenced all 15 accused convicted in the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks case to 220 years of rigorous imprisonment each.

The court found the prosecution had proved the charges against the 15 accused beyond reasonable doubt.

Nine other accused were acquitted and released. The case involved more than 23,270 charges and 2,309 prosecution witnesses.
