Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has called for an All Party Conference to discuss the ongoing economic situation, including the depreciation of the Sri Lankan Rupee.

In a post on X, Premadasa noted that rising economic uncertainty and pressure on the rupee should not be treated as partisan issues.

He stated that the opposition has decided to formally request President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to convene an All Party Conference to discuss urgent national solutions.

Premadasa also warned of worsening economic pressures if immediate action is not taken.
