A man was recently arrested for sexually abusing a Woman Police Constable (WPC) attached to the Police Children and Women’s Bureau Headquarters.
The suspect, identified as a 43-year-old man from Madulawa, Padukka, is reportedly a clerk of the Engineering Corporation.
Police investigations had reportedly revealed that the WPC had been sexually abused while she was travelling home on a bus after work.
