Sri Lanka Customs has announced that the recent delays in clearing import containers at the Colombo Harbour have been fully resolved.

Additional Director General Seevali Arukgoda said the congestion stemmed from an unusual spike in daily container arrivals, which more than doubled in some instances.

He confirmed that, as of this morning, all scheduled containers have been released, and clearance operations have returned to normal.
