An interesting incident where explicit and inappropriate language was seen on the official website of the Ministry of Public Security was reported last Thursday (24).

A screenshot that circulated online showed a search result listing vulgar and offensive content under a section meant to display ministerial information regarding the Ministry Secretary.

The presence of such language raised suspicions that the website may have been hacked or tampered with by external parties, but authorities had not issued an official statement on the matter. Cybersecurity experts have however stressed the urgent need for investigation and prompt rectification.
