The Cabinet has granted approval to draft a new Condominium Ownership (Special Provisions) Act to ease the registration of government-owned condominium properties.

This follows the expiration of the previous special provisions Act No. 23 of 2018, on 14 August 2023, which had simplified documentation requirements.

The proposed legislation will incorporate provisions from past acts to provide a streamlined and legally sound framework for property registration.

The Urban Development Ministry will lead the drafting process, ensuring continuity in legal facilitation for state-owned condominium developments.
