The Inland Revenue Department has extended the deadline for filing Income Tax Returns for the 2024/2025 Year of Assessment to 31 December 2025, following disruptions caused by Cyclonic Storm Ditwah and adverse weather.

The IRD said taxpayers who file their returns by the new deadline will not face penalties or legal action for late submission and urged those yet to file to make use of the extended period.
