Gin Ganga flood warning lifted as water levels recede

The Department of Irrigation has lifted flood warnings issued for the low-lying areas of the Gin Ganga basin.

This decision had been taken due to the lack of significant rainfall and a decrease in water levels at monitoring stations.

The lifting of the warnings has been welcomed by residents of the affected areas, who have been dealing with the threat of flooding for several days.
