The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the supply contracts for lubricants to the Sapugaskanda Power Plant for the period of March 2025 to February 2026.

Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) PLC has been awarded the contract to supply 414,000 liters of lubricant to the A Plant (SEMT Pielstick PC 4.2 Diesel Engine), while Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC will provide 389,000 liters to the B Plant (MAN B&W 8L Diesel Engine). 

These suppliers were selected based on recommendations from the original equipment manufacturers.
