• Applications accepted between 27 May-14 June

The Department of Examinations has announced the date for this year’s (2024) Grade Five Scholarship Examination. According to the statement released by the Department, the 2024 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be held on 15 September.

Accordingly, applications for the Exam will be accepted online from 27 May to 14 June. The Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara emphasised that the deadline for the submission of the applications will not be extended under any circumstances. 

He further stated that the instruction manual has provided detailed guidelines on how the applications for special needs students should be submitted.
