The Wedamulla College secured victory with its captain Reyan Shehara’s all-round talent against the Kelaniya Sri Dharmaloka College at the Under-15 third group Cricket Tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association.

The one-day tournament was played at the Ragama Heenkenda College grounds. Winning the toss, the Wedamulla team invited the Sri Dharmaloka team to bat, and Dharmaloka got limited to 86 for 23.3 balls. Showcasing skillful ball delivery, Kujindra Koojana broke five wickets, K. Malshan hit two wickets, and Reyan Shehara broke one wicket.

The Wedamulla team scored 233 at 8 wickets in 40.1 balls. Playing an extravagant inning, Reyan Shehara scored 139 at 102 balls, with 14 four strikes and 7 sixers.

At the end of the second inning, Sri Dharmaloka team scored 169 with 7 wickets at 44 balls.

The Wedamulla team scored a first inning victory.
