The Police today(8) launched a nationwide operation targeting illegal vehicle modifications and unsafe driving practices.

Officers have begun inspecting vehicles across the country to ensure compliance with the Motor Traffic Act and related regulations.

The latest round of inspections was carried out in the Galle District, with similar operations expected in other regions in the coming days.
