The Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation will unveil seven new medicinal and herbal products tomorrow (30) at 10.00 a.m. in Nawinna, under the patronage of Minister of Health Nalinda Jayatissa, the Ministry of Health announced.
The new additions include Ayurvedic medicines such as Kubja Prasarini Oil, Bala Koranda Oil, Panchavalkala Churna and the Corporation’s Bone Marrow Tablet, along with herbal products including Pinda Balm, Rathhadun Body Wash and Panchavalkala Shampoo.
The launch will also coincide with an evaluation of the Corporation based on state sector purchases made in 2024.
Currently, the Corporation produces around 194 products through 450 production units and has served the country’s Ayurvedic healthcare sector for over 56 years.
Senior officials from the Health Ministry, the Department of Ayurveda, universities and the Ayurvedic sector are expected to attend the event.
