The final report on the missing $2.5mn from the Treasury will be presented in Parliament next week, says Chair of the Committee on Public Finance (COPF) Harsha de Silva.

He said the report is based on submissions from the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

The committee held multiple discussions and reviewed separate reports from both institutions, which had differing findings.

The final report will be tabled in Parliament after committee approval next week.
