Emirates has launched a new advertising campaign featuring Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, scheduled to debut ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The airline has maintained a long-standing association with international cricket for nearly three decades. Its involvement includes sponsorship of major ICC tournaments across more than ten cricket-playing nations, branding on umpires’ and referees’ kits, and visibility at key moments in global cricket events.
Yadav is recognised for his unconventional batting approach and consistency in the T20 format, which has earned him the ICC’s number one ranking in men’s T20 internationals. He was a member of India’s title-winning teams at the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and the 2025 Asia Cup and currently serves as captain of the India T20I side.
The latest Emirates campaign features Yadav during a match scenario, highlighting his batting style in a stadium setting. The campaign coincides with the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and will be shown to audiences in cricket-following markets worldwide.
Passengers travelling on Emirates flights during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will have access to live match coverage through the airline’s ice entertainment system via Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra.
