The High Commission of Sri Lanka in London officially celebrated Brigadier B.D. Fernando’s promotion to Major General in the Sri Lanka Army. 

With over 30 years of service since joining in 1993, Major General Fernando has held key roles including Brigade Commander and Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps. 

High Commissioner Nimal Senadheera presented the insignia in a ceremony attended by family, friends, and staff, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished military career. 

The High Commission extended its congratulations and best wishes for his continued service to the nation.
