The Ministry of Health has donated another mobile bus to the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development to expand random drug testing on public transport.

The programme tests drivers, conductors and bus assistants for drug use while working on public transport services. It is currently being conducted in five provinces.

A total of 7,150 tests have been carried out so far, with plans to extend the programme to the remaining provinces as resources become available.
