The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has set maximum retail prices for locally bottled drinking water, effective 1 April. 

As per the Gazette, prices are capped at Rs. 70 for 500ml, Rs. 100 for 1L, Rs. 130 for 1.5L, Rs. 160 for 2L, and Rs. 350 for 5L. 

Selling above these prices is prohibited.
