The National People’s Power (NPP) has won control of the Kalutara Municipal Council with 13,945 votes and 12 seats.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) followed with 9,290 votes and secured 8 seats.

The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) obtained 3 seats, while the United National Party (UNP) also won 3 seats.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) secured just 1 seat.
