The Committee on High Posts has approved the appointments of chairpersons to 4 key state institutions, including the Development Lotteries Board (DLB).

M. R. H. Swarnathilaka was appointed as the new Chairman of the DLB. Other approved appointments include Somasiri Ekanayake to the Employees’ Trust Fund Board (ETFB), B. A. P. K. R. Bamunu Arachchi to the Ceylon Fishery Harbours Corporation, and S. Nesarajan to Paranthan Chemicals Limited.

The approvals were granted during a meeting held on 20 June 20, chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya.
