Starting the New Year, the Police has introduced a new streamlined system allowing the public to directly share information with Divisional Officers-in-Charge (OICs) about the distribution of illegal drugs across the country.
This initiative aims to enhance intelligence-led operations targeting substances like heroin, crystal meth (“ice”), cocaine, and cannabis.
According to an official statement, the police have set up dedicated hotlines for each division, enabling citizens to report credible information confidentially and securely.
The police emphasized that all informant identities and details will be kept strictly confidential and handled professionally.
Members of the public are encouraged to use the contact numbers provided for each division to contribute crucial information in the fight against illegal drugs, reinforcing the collective effort to ensure safety and security nationwide.
