The weekly astrology newspaper Tharuwa,  published by Liberty Publishers has been awarded as ‘Sri Lanka’s most popular Astrology newspaper’ by the United Nations Federation of International Astro (UNFIA).

The achievement award was presented in appreciation and recognition of providing accurate news in the field of astrology, Vastu, Lal kitab, and Occult, at a function held at the BMICH in Colombo yesterday (19). The UN Global Astrologer's Conference and award ceremony saw a gathering of astrology experts from India, Sri Lanka, and the region.

The award was accepted by Tharuwa Editor Anupama Galkadawala.
