The Airports and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) has issued a notice advising passengers arriving at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to use the Colombo–Katunayake Expressway, as flooding on other routes may cause delays.

To reduce congestion, passengers are requested to avoid bringing visitors to the terminal.

Authorities urge the public to travel safely and responsibly under the prevailing weather conditions.
