Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa participated in the 'Rising Bharat Summit 2025' in New Delhi today (8), which aims at strengthening trade, security, and diplomatic ties between India and Sri Lanka.

The summit, which brings together influential leaders and thinkers, focuses on key regional issues and future collaborations.

At the summit, the MP delivered a speech during a panel discussion on the topic 'Strengthening Indo-Sri Lanka Ties Through Dialogue, Collaboration, and Shared Progress,' emphasising the importance of fostering deeper cooperation between India and Sri Lanka for mutual growth and stability in the region.

The Prime Minister (PM) of India Narendra Modi is also expected to join the summit later today, further underscoring the significance of bilateral ties between the two nations.
