The launch of the Raffealla Fernando Celebrity Calendar (RFCC) 2023, held at Cinnamon Lakeside on 11 January, promised to be a star-studded night and it did not disappoint. This is the eleventh edition of the calendar and featured 26 personalities, of which 15 were new faces to the RFCC.

Fashion designer, stylist, and fashion photographer Raffealla Fernando looked stunning in a turquoise dress, with guests sticking to the dress code of black and silver.

The unveiling of the calendar took place after invitees had the opportunity to catch up with each other, and showcased Fernando’s creativity and skill in conceptualised storytelling. Actors Rashiprabha Sandeepani, and Saranga Disasekara were the featured stars for January, with Disasekara having been featured in all 11 editions of the RFCC.

February features actors Sangeeth Satharasinghe and Dinithi Walgamage, as well as musician Kanchana Anuradhi. Fans got to see another side to actress Chandani Seneviratne as captured by Fernando for March, along with actresses Dinakshie Priyasad and Shalani Tharaka. The month of April features actresses Sachini Ayendra and Upeksha Swarnamali, while May features actors Sabeeta Jayasinghe and Sachin Liyanage.

Actresses Paboda Sandeepani and Shehani Kahandawala are the celebrity picks for June, followed by media personality Danu Innasithamby and actress Nimmi Harasgama in July. August features actress Sangeetha Weeraratne and model Caroline Jurie, September features actors Kalum Wijesooriya and Shanudrie Priyasad, and October features actor Roshan Ranawana and his son Mineth as well as actress and activist Bhoomi Harendran.

The RFCC picks of November are musician Randhir Witana and actress Himali Sayurangi, with December dominated by RFCC’s first global icon Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez.
