A fully operational field hospital has been established in Mahiyanganaya by an Indian medical team to support flood-affected communities.

The facility provides trauma care, surgical services, ambulances, and other critical medical support.

In a post on X, the Indian High Commission said the move ensures that those affected “have access to urgent, life-saving medical support.”
