Sri Lanka has signed 70 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with countries across the world during the first year of the current government, Foreign Affairs informed Parliament today (17).
According to the Minister, the agreements span multiple regions, including 20 South Asian nations, 19 East Asian nations, 15 European and Western nations, and four each from the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
He said the growing number of partnerships reflects the government’s focus on strengthening global cooperation and international relations.
