The Police have reported a new bomb scare at the Badulla District Secretariat, following recent threats targeting the Kandy District Secretariat. 

According to authorities, the latest threat was received via email and bears similarities to the earlier threats in Kandy. 

In response, staff at the Badulla Secretariat were promptly evacuated as a precaution. 

Search operations are currently ongoing, with specialized units inspecting the premises for any suspicious objects. As of now, no suspicious items have been discovered. 

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and have assured the public that safety measures are being strictly enforced.
