India will provide a $450 million assistance package to support reconstruction in Sri Lanka following the impact of Cyclone Ditvah, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated.
Speaking to the media, Jaishankar said the package includes a $350 million concessional line of credit and $100 million in grants.
The funds are intended to help rebuild infrastructure and restore livelihoods in cyclone-affected areas.
He also noted that the assistance reflects India’s continued support for Sri Lanka’s recovery efforts following the recent natural disaster.
