President meets northern palm industrialists, announces committees for industry modernization

President Ranil Wickremesinghe took part in a meeting with palm industrialists from the Northern Province on yesterday (7) at Thandei Chelwa Auditorium in Jaffna. 


During the session, the President announced the establishment of two committees, one focused on social issues and the other on challenges within the palm industry in the northern region. 


President Wickremesinghe mentioned that decisions for modernising the palm industry in the Northern province would be made based on the reports submitted by these committees.
