The U19 “Division I” two-day cricket tournament is currently in full swing around the country. Richmond College, Galle thumped Dharmashoka College by an innings and 131 runs while Dharmapala College thrashed Zahira College by an innings and one run yesterday (22). A couple of centuries were scored yesterday. For Richmond, Kavindu Nirmana scored 110 runs as they posted 311 in their first innings. For Sri Sumangala, Kishan Eranga scored an unbeaten 151 and Druanka Silva scored 102 as they posted a mammoth 356 before declaring on the first day of their traditional encounter against Sri Devananda College.
