Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to field first against Pakistan in the opening match of their three-match One Day International (ODI) series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today(11)

The teams are meeting in an ODI bilateral series for the first time since 2019, when Pakistan secured a two-nil victory.

The remaining matches in the series are scheduled for 13 and 15 November at the same venue. 

This ODI series will be followed by a tri-nation series also involving Zimbabwe.

Pakistan XI is led by Shaheen Afridi, while Charith Asalanka captains the Sri Lanka XI.
