Sri Lanka Police announced that steps are being taken to bring back over 20 individuals who committed crimes in the country and fled overseas.

Police Media Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manatunga stated that these suspects are currently residing in countries including Dubai, India, and Canada.

Preparations for their repatriation are already underway.

The announcement was made during a media briefing held in Colombo today (4).
