Former MP Ranjan Ramanayake has formed a new political party named the ‘United Democratic Voice’ (Eksath Prajathanthravadi Handa).

The ‘microphone’ was unveiled as the symbol of the United Democratic Voice.

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Thilakarathne Dilshan, also known as TM Dilshan, has been appointed as the national organiser of the new party led by the actor-turned-politician.

Former Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Vadivel Suresh was also present at this occasion.
