Several roads in Galle have been flooded due to heavy rainfall, disrupting transport. 

The Galle–Baddegama road is submerged in Thalapitiya, Beligaha, and Kahaduwawatta, while the Galle–Kithulampitiya road is flooded in Moragoda after the Moragoda canal overflowed. 

Residents blame poor drainage maintenance and unauthorized construction for recurring floods.
