The meeting underscored a shared commitment to safeguarding regional stability, particularly in the Indo-Pacific, where open commerce and secure sea lanes are crucial for prosperity. 

Ambassador Chung highlighted the broad nature of the relationship, emphasizing collaboration "from ports to people."
