DIMO, the sole authorised agent for Mercedes-Benz in Sri Lanka, successfully concluded the 32nd Mercedes Trophy Sri Lanka 2026, held from 5 to 7 June in Nuwara Eliya, bringing together Mercedes-Benz customers from across the country for one of the most anticipated events in the local golfing calendar.
This year's tournament carried added significance as Mercedes-Benz celebrated 140 years of innovation and engineering excellence globally, while Mercedes Trophy marked its 32nd anniversary in Sri Lanka.
The three-day event combined competitive golf with luxury hospitality, customer engagement activities, and lifestyle experiences, reflecting the values associated with the Mercedes-Benz brand. The event commenced with the Chairman's cocktail hosted by DIMO at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, offering participants an opportunity to connect and celebrate their shared passion for the Mercedes-Benz lifestyle.
Golfers competed at the historic Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, while guests participated in a specially curated driving experience through the central highlands to Piduruthalagala, showcasing the performance, comfort, and engineering excellence of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

The tournament's leading performers were honoured at the "Class of Its Own" Mercedes Trophy 2026 awards night and gala dinner held at the Governor's Lawn of the Grand Hotel.
Among the winners, Fran de Mel secured the Senior Division Women's title, while Sriyantha Rajapaksha claimed the Senior Division Men's championship. Usha de Silva emerged victorious in Handicap D (Women), Lanka Amarapala won Handicap C, Sameera Ganegoda secured Handicap B, and Srinath Rajapakse claimed top honours in Handicap A. Special awards were presented to Nirthaj Seelanatha for Nearest to the Pin and Pravina Dunuwille for Closest to the Line.
The evening's most coveted prizes – the Mercedes-Benz Perfection Driving Experience in the Arctic Circle, Sweden – were awarded to Usha de Silva (Handicap D), Lanka Amarapala (Handicap C), Manjula Lanerolle (Handicap B), and Srinath Rajapakse (Handicap A).
Through the specially designed international driving programme, the winners will have the opportunity to engage directly with the Mercedes-Benz brand and experience AMG driving performance first-hand. The winners of the previous year's tournament participated in a G-Class Driving Experience in Graz, Austria.
