The Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya conducted by Sri Lanka Air Force, will start on Friday (27) from Negombo and end in Chilaw on its initial day.

The three-day cycling race is being conducted with the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Sri Lanka Air Force and has already attracted more than 150 participants with many overseas cyclists as well.

Day two will be from Chilaw and end in Dambulla while the final day’s proceedings will start from Dambulla and end at Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters. The total distance of the race is more than 500 km.

The Women's race will also take place on 1 March from Meerigama and ending at Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters. Platinum sponsor of the event is Toyota Lanka.
