The National Building Research Organisation(NBRO) has warned that landslide risks remain in several areas, despite the lifting of red alerts.

Senior scientist Hasali Semasinghe stated the warnings were withdrawn following a reduction in rainfall. 

However, she also noted that the risk had not fully subsided and urged the public not to return to high-risk locations.

Residents were advised to wait until relevant authorities complete inspections and officially declare affected areas safe.
