Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya stated that Sri Lanka remains committed to regional cooperation and international engagement as the country continues economic recovery and governance reforms.

Addressing the Sri Lankan-German Business Forum 2026 in Colombo, she noted that Sri Lanka aims to strengthen trade, investment, and maritime sector partnerships with international partners, including Germany.

Amarasuriya also highlighted efforts to improve transparency, investor confidence, and long-term economic sustainability.
