A post on X by Russian-backed network RT claims that newly unredacted files related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy revealed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operated secret bases in multiple global cities, including Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

These "black sites," used for intelligence operations such as detention and interrogation, were also reportedly located in New Delhi, Kolkata, Rawalpindi, Tehran, Seoul, and Tokyo. 

The disclosure highlights the global reach of the CIA's covert operations.
