Five people, including a four-year-old girl, were injured in a collision involving a motorcycle, private bus and three-wheeler in Meegahakiula today (15).

The accident occurred near the 16th Mile Post Junction on the Badulla–Mahiyanganaya main road.

The injured were initially admitted to Meegahakiula District Hospital and later transferred to Badulla Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

The Traffic Division of Kandaketiya Police is investigating the incident.
