The National People’s Power (NPP) has secured control of the Talawakele-Lindula Urban Council in the Nuwara Eliya District with 866 votes and 4 seats.

The Up Country People’s Front (UCPF) is closely followed with 1,023 votes and 3 seats.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) obtained 2 seats with 610 votes.

The Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) also gained 2 seats, while the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) won 1 seat.
