Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunneththi has urged Sri Lankan entrepreneurs in Australia to support the development of Sri Lanka’s industrial and technology sectors.

Addressing Sri Lankan Entrepreneurs Night 2026 in Melbourne, he invited overseas entrepreneurs to bring investment, expertise and international experience to Sri Lanka.

The Minister also highlighted the need to strengthen the country’s industrial and technological capabilities to support economic growth.
