Former President Maithripala Sirisena held talks with Iranian Ambassador Dr. Alireza Delkhosh in Colombo.

Discussions focused on Sri Lanka–Iran relations and the current situation in the Middle East.

The Ambassador noted Iran’s readiness to support Sri Lanka, including the supply of oil and essential goods if required.
