Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba, Mahinda Ratnayake officially began his tenure as Sri Lanka’s Resident Ambassador to Cuba by presenting credentials to President Miguel Díaz-Canel in Havana.

Both sides emphasised strengthening trade, healthcare, and cultural ties, marking 66 years of diplomatic relations.
