The British Minister of State for Indo-Pacific Anne-Marie Trevelyan met with Northern Province Governor P.S.M.Charles to discuss development activities in Jaffna.
Trevelyan pledged the UK's continued assistance to the demining process and economic development in the region. She also stated that the UK will provide maximum support to Sri Lanka to become a mine-free country by 2030.
